Wed - Rome

First day in Rome. It was very exciting taking the taxi ride from the train station to our hotel near the Trevi Fountain. Actually we are only 50 meters from the fountain.


We headed for a walk and went in the direction of the Pantheon. Only a 10 minute walk from our room and the fountain. After exploring the Pantheon, we had a late lunch right across from the Pantheon and then explored some more before heading back to our room to rest up for dinner.

As we walked we cam across this restaurant that my neighbor told me we had to try. That will be on Saturday. We have a full schedule ahead of us and slow day on Sat. On Tues. we will venture to the Colosseum for a day of ruins and such.
